Today's short update:
since I last posted here, i have gotten much better at drawing... and lost my aversion to drawing girls without much clothing on.
I am also applying for programming work at various game programming studios around brisbane, but they all seem to be slow at processing job applications. That said, the hard part is probably just going to be getting to the interview. I've decided that i don't like resumes and job hunting and all that stuff.

I guess I should update this thing.
I'm procrastinating now, there's a nasty Japanese listening exam tomorrow that I'm going to fail (haven't studied at all)... and I've got tons of other work that's coming up or already overdue. Yay, so first things... I've been drawing ALOT since I last updated this thing, recently it's just been sketching but with a decent change to my drawing style. I'm also getting sick of university, now I'm finding it hard to keep motivated on research and stuff... but deadlines will help with that.
I've seen alot of really good anime recently...
"Kurau Phantom Memory" is something really worth mentioning... but not actually telling you about in case I ruin any part of it for you. In fact you should make every effort to watch this without any idea what it's about or any such information... except that it's really good!
"Bleach" finally got animated, though it's quite similar in many ways to naruto... I much prefer this one, as it's not as predicable.
"Re: Cutie Honey" this is just insane... and colourful... and the music gets stuck in your head. If you mistakenly download the old 80's TV series you'll see what an incredible improvement drugs and a team of overzealous animators can make to just about anything.

 I kind of just drew this character cause it popped into my head to do it (kind of like compuleive urge... i hope none of you witchcrafty goth types are responsible).
Anyway here's the 10th one, I did it on top of a pirates of the carribean poster for fun,
oh and someone else made the bleety sheep... a friend of mine from b3ta who goes by the name of "amazongirl - jaffacake scoffer".

Today was the very definition of average. Started out normally enough, got bugger all work done by the time I had to go to uni. Nearly fell asleep through a rather dull lecture on the ID3 algorithm... some lecturers just have that affect on me.
Anwyay, what REALLY sucks is that I got 2 assignments back, did really well on both. Oh... except i got one which was marked with the name "Terrence", funny that... you know, my name not being Terrence and all.
Anyway I go and get MY assignment for that subject... yay, now that mark sucked. Now I get home and check my mid semester exam mark for the AI subject I had a lecture on today (bear in mind that i got 95% on the assignment for this).... 65%. What the hell!?
So I get home, and I'm in one of those moods when the sound of a human voice is a rattling noise that drives one to the verge of violent insanity and I have to deal with my loud and vocally diharettic family.
Worse yet, my mother got her voice back today and she CAN'T STOP TALKING... i swear she's making up for the entire week.
I have a family who loves to give advice but doesn't have a clue on how to be helpful... basically they're just good anti-beuracratic shitkickers, but I don't need that often.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAERRRJG!~
Normally i can see a light at the end of the tunnel at all times,
all i see now are deadlines and things that scare the shit out of me.

Going to start using this journal again... why?
it's convenient now. I never could use semagic or any other client, they all just didn't work... anyway, nows is good because i got one that works for me (insert dance here).
My honors workload has knocked me for six lately. I should have gotten more readings done today, oh the fun. Anyway i should get back to doing readings.

I'm a bit worried, between uni, japanese school and my job i'm now unable to comprehend everything i need to catch up on or do to prepare myself for next week... it's just too damn complicated.
Strangely enough i've been doing way more drawing and watching of anime during this time, which is probably me avoiding the problem until i get really scared (nothing new here...).
I'm just afraid that there might be too much work at that time to catch up before the end when i finally do get around to it all. Everything I intend to do plus everything i do as an excuse to avoid the things i intended to... they add up to something huge. It's truly fearsome, like pants.
Guess it's just most convenient if i go mad now...

Work has been more than intense... rumors of my death weren't exaggerated but i'm feeling a little better now
now i have to write the user manual again as a tutorial from scratch, with 3 days till the project must be ready to ship.
I've identified some terribly critical bugs too but i really don't have time to fix them (wish I could just pull a Blizzard and delay the release date).
Aside from that i'm doing japanese again, and my timetable looks like someone hit it with a cluster bomb and a flying gerbil farm.
Also on my timetable is a list of when each lecture theatre will be free through the semester (the joys of being staff)... so let me know if you want to find out when the anime screening s will happen.
The rest of febuary will be fun, i have 4gb of anime left to download this month in 5 days. I will be a happy kez
